Longroad’s Sun Streams Complex will provide substantial benefits to Arizona communities, including providing significant power reliability benefits, particularly during the summer when peak demand is high.

• 1,000 construction jobs generated
• $300 million in benefits to Arizonans over the projects’ useful life
• Rent paid on 5,000 acres of land leased is distributed to Arizona schools
• Design includes wildlife corridors to facilitate passage of native species

Sun Streams 2 is a solar project located predominantly on land owned by the state of Arizona.

Sun Streams 3 solar and storage

Sun Streams 3 is the first project at Longroad’s Sun Streams complex that includes battery energy storage. The storage component will provide reliability benefits to the Arizona grid because it will allow solar energy generated during the day to be dispatched in the evenings when it is needed most. The project’s total output will be purchased by Arizona Public Service via a long-term Power Purchase Agreement.

Sun Streams 4 is Longroad’s largest solar and storage project to date and the first project Longroad has financed worth over $1 billion. The project’s total output, will be purchased by Arizona Public Service via a long-term Power Purchase Agreement.
