Sun Streams 3 solar and storage

Balanced energy supply through solar plus storage

Sun Streams 3 is the first project at Longroad’s Sun Streams complex that includes battery energy storage. The storage component provides reliability benefits to the Arizona grid because it allows solar energy generated during the day to be dispatched in the evenings when it is needed most.

The project powers an average of 90,000 homes represents 460,000 metric tons of avoided CO2 emissions annually – the equivalent of taking ~100,000 cars off the road for as long as the project operates.

Arizona Public Service has purchased the project’s total output via a long-term Power Purchase Agreement.
